Joe Johnson and the Bluebacks band has been helping to keep the blues alive in the Midwest since 2007. Some things just need to stay the same, and that's what we've been doing with our lineup of musicians. Our music however, is ever changing while we add new and creative songs all the time. Joe Johnson and the Bluebacks, a renowned West Michigan Blues Band, is made up of a talented team of creative musicians who have been performing together since 2007. We play a show of music and stage presence. Original music mixed with some of the great Chicago blues cover songs make up an exciting night of music with this band!
JJBB is a 2024 Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge semi-finalist band (top 26 bands), competing against hundreds of other blues bands from across the world in Memphis, TN. JJBB is a proud member band of the West Michigan Blues Society. Check them out and become a member yourself! We're excited to see what's next, and continuously working to add to the show!
